It's hard for me not to say our ceremony was the best I'd ever witnessed as I was one of two saying "I do," but it really was. This is evidenced by the fact that EVERY guest came to us after, with tears in their eyes, expressing the same. Sherry created a ceremony that was so personal and intimate and inspirational. She listened to what was important to us and included our sentiments in the script, which made it all the more "ours." Rev was our officiant. His presence was everything you could hope for from the man marrying you. It was important to us that we have a person of strong character at the end of the aisle with us. Rev cared about the words he was speaking and about us and our marriage. He spent the minutes before the ceremony with my husband, who later told me he will never forget the peace Rev's words brought him. Hiring A Joyful Celebration will be the best decision you will make during your wedding planning. Thank you again, Sherry and Rev, for giving us the most memorable, touching personal wedding ceremony. We have saved the script to read to each other every year on our anniversary and look forward to thinking of you both when we do.

My husband (then fiancé) and I met with Rev. Sherry early in our planning process to discuss the type of ceremony we wanted. Sherry helped to guide us through the process and met with us a couple times in person and over the phone, which was very helpful. Sherry created a ceremony that was filled with personal stories about our relationship, as well as our family, and added some readings and quotes that fit in perfectly. It was an amazing ceremony! We found Rev. Sherry via the Knot and after reading the reviews, checking her website and talking to Rev. Sherry -knew that we wanted her for our wedding ceremony. Rev. Sherry took the time to meet with us to get information for the ceremony and made an effort to get to know the real us and be sure that we were truely reflected in our ceremony. The result was fantastic and we have gotten so may compliements on the ceremony. My only slight fustration was the timing on getting visibility to draft of the ceremony - however once I finally did get the draft was very pleased with the results.

I could not be more happy with the work of Sherry. She is a sensitive and thoughtful celebrant whose passion is creating unique, individualized and beautiful wedding cermonies. My parents are devout catholics who were upset we were not doing a catholic ceremony and her ceremony brought tears not only to their eyes, but most of the guests. I cannot count how many compliments I received on our ceremony because of her thoughtful work. She truly is amazing and made our wedding day more special. I cannot imagine now a wedding ceremony without having her as part of it. Very special!

Sherry is a great officiant for any progressive and open minded couple. She created a beautiful, unique ceremony for us that really reflected who we are. She even included a shout out for marriage equality! I received so many complements on our ceremony- many guests saying it was the most unique they had ever been to.

Aside from the professionalism, respectfulness and true caring Rev. Sherry offered throughout the entire process, the thing I appreciated the most was something we never asked her to do. She was the one person, who before the ceremony, made an effort to make sure we were calm and ready to go. She guided us through every step. And the ceremony couldn't have been more perfect for us. It was beautiful and meaningful and we even had a chance to review it before hand. And we loved coming home from our honeymoon to find a copy of our ceremony in our inbox. It's going to make a nice addition to our photo album. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rev. Sherry for any bride and groom. I know she will give you exactly what you want and need; even if you didn't know you wanted or needed it.

Sherry did such a great job making our ceremony personal. Because my husband and I are both so busy, we were only able to meet with Sherry once in person. But through email and phone calls she got to know each of us and this really showed in our ceremony. A personal, heartfelt ceremony was exactly what we were looking for and Sherry delivered. She was so great to work with, both before and after the wedding. She's even touched base with us a few times since the wedding to see how we were doing. I loved working with her and would definitely recommend her!

Rev. Sherry Mullins was better than we could have ever anticipated. When our first officiant fell through we were frustrated and worried that we wouldn't be able to have the wedding that WE wanted. There's nothing worse than desperately searching for an officiant less than 2 months before your wedding! Sherry was able to connect with us and provide us with exactly the type of ceremony we wanted -- something about us. I mean the last thing we wanted was another generic ceremony! Sherry was able to include personal stories about the two of us and really help us celebrate our love. She took care of everything, including things we hadn't really thought of and wrote an entire ceremony from scratch that was all about us. Our day wouldn't have been the same without Rev. Sherry and we couldn't have asked for a more friendly or professional officiant. We'd definitely recommend Rev. Sherry to our friends and family looking for a wedding officiant.

When I started planning my wedding I knew one of the most difficult vendors to find would be an officiant/minister. Comming from no religious background I was nervous and unsure of what I needed to look for. I located the website for a Joyful Celebration via the knot, and called reverand Sherry Mullins. She immediatly put me at ease and was very compassionate and easy to talk to. She was also very helpful throughout the wedding planning process, she ended up becomming really close to us! The ceremony that she custom wrote from us was absolutly beautiful, and we still have guests from our wedding commenting on how touched they were from the ceremony...they are even requesting copy's of some of the readings! I would absolutly reccomend Sherry to fellow knotties, friends, and family members who are soon to be married.

not worth the money  (btw - this bride rated every wedding vendor like this... but it is a legitimate review, so I'm not trying to hide it... I wish she could have been a happier bride on her wedding day. That part is unfortunate.)
