Here are my suggestions for how to use this form:

~Creating Sacred Ceremonies and Sacred Marriages~

You can answer questions that we can actually incorpoate into personalizing your ceremony.

You can answer questions that will not necessarily be included in the ceremony, but that will be used more to help me understand you so I can make great selections for elements to be included in your wedding ceremony.

You and your fiance may want to answer questions together.

You and your fiance may want to separately answer questions that are important to you,

You can also use this information as thought starters to help you write your Personal Expression of Intent.

Ministry Without Religion

When we say A Joyful Celebration! supports you from "Yes!" to "I Do!" and Beyond, we mean it.  But we probably don't mean "Ministry" as you might think of the word.

Our definition of Ministry is this:

1.  An act or instance of ministering; ministration; service.

2.  Something that serves as an agency, instrument, or means.

I do not feel it is my job to preach to you about my own beliefs. I act more as a student than as a teacher.  I feel it is my job to learn about your beliefs, and about what feeds your soul. Then it is my job to help you live up to your own standards and concepts of "God" and what is "Good".

Our ministry is about helping our couples and our families to become something more.  We assist to make your wedding planning process as stress free and enjoyable as possible. We work along side you to create a wedding that is personal and meaningful....One that starts your marriage off on the right foot.

We guide you so your relationship with your new spouse and with others may become strong and healthy.  We guide you as an individual to be whole and a valued member of both your inner circles and the outer circle of the world.

And we really do stay with you, as you need us, as your marriage unfolds.  To me, these are things that Ministers do. As someone said (can't remember the source...)   "I would rather see a good sermon than hear one any day."  I guess so would we...

It's Easy...
