Philosophy: Guide to the Ideas of 100 Great Thinkers
For the first time, I know WHY I was told my philosophy is closely aligned with St. Thomas Aquinas, who was know for being a "Model Catholic Priest." So this has made me more than a little confused - even a little cheated. But I learned that he was best known for believing that science, philosophy and theology ALL have a proper place in understanding the Universe, and our place in it. He believed that all three should be kept separate in consideration, and that one should never over-ride another.
For example, we cannot rely on theology over reason, or against science. Complex? Yes. Somewhat hard to believe. Absolutely. Does it describe some of the different aspects of me? Afraid so. Okay, St. Thomas. It looks like I need to friend you on Facebook.
